Our first lie.
When we were young, it left our mouth with sharp edges, disturbing the fabric of our identity.
An inner voice, our personal Jiminy Cricket, or perhaps a sense of unease, wanted to be attended to.
But we denied it the opportunity. Even though we knew we had crossed a Rubicon that might define us.
We knew, even in our first years, the difference between right and wrong.
Do we walk the Earth with lightness of being that comes from paying attention to our conscience, or do we become immune to lies and all the accessories of conscience’s absence?
Of what is your conscience speaking to you?
In a world of lies, your conscience matters.
